Tyson bankrupt - has $5000 in the bank
Having earned more than 200 million US$ you should think he had a little stashed away. Well, it turns out he hasn't. Tyson, who filed for bankruptcy protection in August, has a 10.2 million US$ debt to one of his business partners, he owes the U.S. Internal Revenue Service $13.4 million, and the British tax authorities $4 million and had 5553 US$ left in cash on December 31, according to papers filed with the US Bankruptcy Court. Tyson has had lavish spending habits which include a reported $410,000 on a birthday party, $65,000 on limousine service, and $8,100 toward the care of his pet tigers. The last thing I heard was that he wanted another heavyweight fight...hmmm... It's a little bit loco spending that much money on...ehh...nothing.

Mozilla.org has today released their latest version of the Mozilla Firebird browser. To confuse and fool their enemy they've renamed it Mozilla FireFox. Anyway Firefoxy...ups..FireFox is by far the coolest and fastest browser for the Mac OS X if you ask me. It's blazingly fast, has a lot of really usefull extensions, nice themes (of which the default theme "Pinstripe" is probably the coolest), it renders well, has pop-up control, tabbed browsing, integrated Google search...and the price is unbeatable,- it's free. Go get it!

As some of you might have noticed, some of the images on my blog has been loading extremely slow the last couple of days. If I want to have images on my blog I have to link to them from somewhere,- Blogdrive doesn't allow for me to upload images. Linking to an image on somebody's site isn't very nice...actually if I do so, I'm stealing bandwidth from the person who hosts the images. Since I always try to be a nice guy (cough) i host my own images and mpeg's at my other site. Last week I uploaded the "Human Dolphins" mpeg (see two entries below) to that site, and posted a link to it at one of those "If-you-are-bored-come-here-and-waste-your-time-and-have-fun"-sites. Apparently a lot of people liked it! Friday I had 5200 visitors to the site within 24 hours, which is 3.6 visitor every single minute each one downloading a 8 mb file. My ISP didn't belive I would ever use that much bandwidth (can't blame them), so they had initially put the bandwidth-limit a little too low. I mailed them yesterday confronting them with the problem, and today they responded that they had tripled the bandwidth free of charge (good ISP good ISP..sit!). They actually offered me to crank up the bandwidth even more if needed. Great service!!! Anyway, I checked my traffic-report yesterday which showed that, nearly 60 sites had linked to the "Human Dophins"-file. Among them was Swedens biggest newspaper Aftonbladet,- no wonder I had a lot of traffic!

iTunesMusicStore - available in Europe...
A good friend of mine, Simon Wedege Petersen (fellow writer at www.macnyt.dk), has found a way to access Apples iTunesMusicStore from within Europe. Quote: "I know I can't buy any music, but I have a good friend in the US who gave me a Pepsi code, and then I bought Sarah McLachlan. This will also work with gift certificates. So do you live in Europe, and know someone in US, you can use Music Store." Check-out the threads at Spymac.com HERE and HEREFull article can be found at Macnyt...(in Danish)

Find lyric for your songs in iTunes via Scripts
I've just found a cool little Applescript for iTunes, that'll make it possible for you to find lyrics for songs in the iTunes library,- from within iTunes. If you click the image above you'll be taken to a page called "Jon's little page of Applescripts". Jon has created a script called "Search for Lyrics",- download the script (left side of the page: "Search for Lyrics"), unstuff it and place the script in: Harddisk->Library->iTunes->Scripts. If you don't have a folder called iTunes in the Library-folder, with a folder in it called Scripts, you'll have to create 'em first. Launch iTunes and select a song, go to the script-menu (located between the "Window"- and "Help"-menus), and select "Search for Lyrics". You default browser will now launch and take you to AstraWeb's Lyrics Search Engine and show you a link to the lyrics (just click "Accept" etc. and eventually "Quit" when the pop-up appears). Great isn't it :-)...and it's FREE!

I've uploaded a gallery of wallpapers
I've created a wallpaper-gallery using some of my free webspace at Spymac (see a review of Spymac's service here). I'm probably violating 1232 copyrights or so but ,- I'm not making any money off of this so hopefully the artists won't get too pissed. Anyway,- all the images were taken from freely accessible sites (public domain) on the world wide web, so I guess it's ok...if not, I'll take it down again. By the way...I used JAlbum to created the gallery. With JAlbum you can easily create galleries and upload them to the net. It's an opensource program and therefore completely free. You'll find a JAlbum review here... Hope you enjoy it:-)
